Frequently Asked Questions

We are always available to answer questions! Most people are unsure what a “Private Investigator” actually does, so it’s not uncommon to have questions. Feel free to ask away!

Below are some of the common ones we get. I hope they will help…

How much does it cost to hire an investigator?

We offer a lot of different services to our clients. We can give you a very close estimate once we talk with you and determine your exact needs. Consultations are always confidential and free of charge.

My “EX” has a restraining order on me, but I need to locate her. Can you do this?

We probably could locate her, but we won’t do that. It would be illegal for us to do so because of the restraining order.

I need to get TXT messages off my husband’s cell phone. We are both under the same account with Verizon. How long would it take to do this?

Cellphones are private and we cannot help you with this at all. I would suggest you contact a lawyer

Someone owes us a large sum of money. We have a judgement, but our lawyer says he can’t do anything to help us. Can you help?

Yes! We have worked cases before where we were able to help recover property for a judgement. Give us a call for a free consultation.

Can you help locate someone who I think lives in Denver now?

Yes, we can help several ways. If needed, we can use a local investigator from the Denver area if needed.

Can you get photos of someone without them seeing you?

Oh yes. We do that sort of thing all the time. In fact, we can make still images or video from over a half mile away with the type of equipment we have. Or from inside buildings using hidden cameras.

Are you open on weekends?

We try to keep normal business hours, but this profession just doesn’t operate that way. All of our “Office Visits” are by appointment only. Please call ahead and set a time to meet with us. Our phones forward to an investigator in the evenings and on weekends for your convenience.

I saw on the internet that I can get a background check done on anyone for just $9.00. Why do you guys charge more?

What they do is provide you with “public record’ information only. And it’s not verified or checked. As you may know, public record info isn’t always correct. We have sources that go beyond public record searches and are trained to provide accurate information that you can use.

We had someone harass us at home, and we are sure we know who it is. The police won’t help us. Can your agency do anything to assist?

I’m sure we can help you. The police are sometimes limited to react in some cases. What we can do is help by collecting evidence and presenting it to the local police agency so they can take action on your behalf.

Why do you offer a free consultation?

Several reasons. It’s hard to provide you an honest price if we don’t know enough about your case. Also, we want to be sure that what we suggest be done will actually help you. If you have a lawyer, we may want to discuss your case with them and make sure we are going after the information they need to fight for you in court. Also, there is a chance that we may not agree to work for you for various reasons such as laws.

Do you offer any kind of “Ride Along” program?

Yes! We enjoy taking people out on cases from time to time. It’s fun and you will walk away with an entirely different view of our profession.

If you still have a question, please contact us and we would be happy to speak to you in person.
